About Bumblebee

Bumblebee’s journey started in Georgia, where he was sadly abandoned as a puppy. Despite that rough beginning, he grew up to be a loving, loyal adult dog who adores his people. Through no fault of his own, his family can no longer care for him, and now he’s hoping for a fresh start with a forever home.

Bumblebee does best in a home with adults or families with older kids, where he can enjoy both playtime and cuddles. He’s sweet, playful, and full of charm, and while he takes most things in stride, he’s convinced the vacuum cleaner is his lifelong arch-nemesis (some heroes must have a rival).

Bumblebee is ready to bring joy, loyalty, and lots of love to the next lucky family who chooses him.

All dogs will be altered, microchipped, and receive age-appropriate vaccines prior to adoption. Mixed Breed temperament

Mixed-breed dogs pull traits from several lines, which often means fewer breed-linked health problems and a temperament best judged by meeting the dog. What the foster or shelter observed day to day is far more predictive than any breed guess.

Exercise

Depends on the individual. A daily walk plus play is the baseline; ask the foster how the dog behaves after a quiet day.

In a NYC apartment

Mixes are often excellent city dogs. Building breed restrictions are usually enforced on what a dog looks like, so ask the rescue how the dog is typically identified.
