Donnie is a beautiful, sweet-natured boy whose journey has been anything but easy. He was brought into Fulton County Animal Services in Georgia in heartbreaking condition, suffering from a severe human-inflicted injury that caused extensive tissue necrosis and ultimately required the amputation of his penis to save his life.
Despite the unimaginable pain and neglect he endured, Donnie has never stopped showing people love. This resilient boy has a gentle spirit, a kind heart, and an incredible capacity to trust. He greets new friends with a wagging tail, enjoys affection, and is ready to leave his difficult past behind in favor of a future filled with comfort, safety, and love.
Donnie enjoys spending time with his people, soaking up attention, and appreciating all the little things that come with finally being cared for.
Donnie is proof that even after experiencing cruelty, a dog's capacity for love can remain intact. Now all he needs is a family willing to give him the happy ending he so deeply deserves.
