Liberty Knight was found as a stray on Fourth of July weekend in New York, thin, malnourished, and missing patches of fur. It's clear life hadn't been kind to him, but somehow it never took away his gentle spirit.
This incredibly sweet boy is as loving as they come. He greets everyone with a wagging tail, soaks up every bit of affection, and seems genuinely grateful to be safe. Despite everything he's endured, Liberty Knight has chosen kindness, proving that resilience comes in the softest forms.
What Liberty Knight needs now is a family who will cherish him for the rest of his life. He's ready to leave his days of wandering behind and trade them for cozy beds, full bowls, and people who will never let him wonder if he's loved.

Friendly, people-focused and famously food-motivated, which makes training straightforward. Labs stay adolescent longer than many breeds and are often goofy well past their second birthday.
High needs — 60-90 minutes daily. Labs love retrieving and swimming, and an under-exercised Lab tends to get mouthy and destructive.
Can do well in an apartment if genuinely exercised. Size and shedding are the main constraints; most are elevator- and crowd-tolerant.
