I'm Chiquita!! No, I am not a baby walrus but I get mistaken for one all the time! I have a VERY squishy face. I am a delightful, fun, outgoing girl who loves to play! I would love a home with a dog pal (35 lbs and up as I have not spent time with small dogs). I would also be fine flying solo. I'm very adjustable :)
I had entropian surgery recently-all healed! basically my eyelashes were poking into my eyeballs and it was super uncomfortable and now I feel a heck of a lot better!
I am so looking forward to meeting you. I am looking for the bestest friend in the world! Are you that friend?

All of our dogs are in private foster homes. Once you fill out an application it will be screened by our volunteer adoption team. From there, if your application
looks like a good fit for the particular dog, it will be sent to the foster where you can ask all the questions you would like and schedule a meet and greet.
Every dog is an individual — temperament depends far more on this dog's history and personality than on breed. The rescue's write-up is the best guide.
Most adult dogs do well with 30-60 minutes of walking a day plus play and sniffing time.
Ask the rescue about leash manners, elevator and stair comfort, alone-time tolerance, and whether the dog settles in a small space.
