Bruno came to us from a life filled with neglect. As a senior boy with a heart condition, which is irreversible. Its being managed with medication and, we weren't sure how much time this boy had left.
However, once he settled into his foster home, he showed us that he wasn't planning on going anywhere anytime soon! Bruno has blossomed in his foster home. He has the cutest little personality and the most expressive little eyes. Bruno is a terrier chi mix who is around 11 years old and weighs roughly 10 lbs. He is very dog-friendly and lives with another dog. Bruno is super cuddly and loves to snuggle with his human. Bruno does have a heart condition, which is managed with medication. Bold and deeply bonded to one or two people. Chihuahuas are often wary of strangers and can be snappy if they were never taught that hands are safe — early gentle socialization matters.
Low — short walks and indoor play are plenty.
Extremely apartment-friendly and easy to carry on the subway. They get cold fast and need a sweater most of the winter.
