This beautiful girl used to have a home. But her family realized the other dogs in the home were bullying her. Instead of managing the situation and providing structure and training, they were going to dump her at one of the deadliest shelters in all of Southern California, SEACCA. We were able to intervene and get her to safety and now she needs a forever home to call her own. She's 10 months old and she's a golden retriever shepherd mix. Sweet with dogs, cats and kids, she is truly a gem. Please consider filling out an application for her.
Gentle, eager to please and highly social. Goldens generally love strangers, children and other dogs, and dislike being left alone for long stretches.
60-90 minutes daily plus mental work. They thrive on fetch and training games.
Manageable in a city if exercised well. Their sociability suits busy sidewalks and dog runs.
