This adorable little girl was rescued alongside her siblings, and from the very beginning she stole our hearts. The entire litter was sweet and affectionate, but Topaz was always the thoughtful one—observant, gentle, and a little more sensitive than the rest.
While all of her siblings have found their forever homes, Topaz is still waiting for her perfect match.
Topaz may take a little time to warm up to new people and situations, but once she feels safe, her loving personality shines. She is playful, affectionate, and happiest curled up in your lap soaking up cuddles. She has a soft, sweet nature and will do best with another dog to help her while she finds her confidence.
Because she looks to other dogs for confidence and guidance, Topaz must be in a home with a friendly canine sibling who can help show her the ropes. With a little patience, love, and encouragement, Topaz will blossom into an incredibly devoted companion.

Bold and deeply bonded to one or two people. Chihuahuas are often wary of strangers and can be snappy if they were never taught that hands are safe — early gentle socialization matters.
Low — short walks and indoor play are plenty.
Extremely apartment-friendly and easy to carry on the subway. They get cold fast and need a sweater most of the winter.
