Ramsey is a 5-year-old Chiweenie/Terrier mix with a big personality wrapped up in a little body. Rescued from a hoarding situation in Bakersfield, he’s learned to be the boss around other dogs, but when it comes to people, he’s a shy and cautious guy. While he may take time to trust, the key to winning him over is simple—treats. Good ones. With the right snack, you’ll have his attention in no time.
True to his stubborn yet endearing nature, Ramsey always likes to have the last word. Whether it’s a little grumble of protest or a tiny bark of opinion, he’s never shy about making his thoughts known. He sometimes needs a bit of encouragement (or a gentle pick-up) to get out the door, but once outside, he enjoys basking in the sun. Fast, loud cars can startle him, but he looks to his person for reassurance, proving that deep down, he wants to trust and feel safe.
